Resolved Question: Looking for a private home to rent for a large outdoor wedding in MA, southern NH or southern ME. Help!?
I want to find a waterfront property that has a big enough yard that I can rent a tent and host a wedding for 150 - 200 guests. I am thinking a warm summer night, a caterer serving food off the grill, super casual, and beachy. I am just having trouble finding the right place that will be willing to rent to me for a wedding/vacation. Any help? Prefer private properties vs. facilities so that I can use my own caterer and not worry about being a public disturbance:)

Resolved Question: Why are mansions so low in $$$ value?
There is a house a block away from me it’s on a corner a waterfront mansion. The first time i saw it i thought it was a building. But it’s actually a single family home. Ridiculous i thought. That should be a building. I’ve seen a lot of huge celebrity homes on MTV cribs, but this russian business man’s house TOWERS over those houses. The strange this is last year that house was around $5.9 million. This year it’s only $2.7 million. How is that possible? The guy also has a 1/4 acre of property. This is in Brooklyn NY.

If Brooklyn NY, and Manhattan and places like Beverly hills are so expensive, then why do houses that literally look like a building that’s built for around 100 families, have such a strong drop in it’s value?

BTW nobody in my neighborhood has anything near what this russian business guy’s house is. He liked the property, bought it and tore down a house then build himself this mansion.

If you see this business man’s house in person you’d think this mansion is too over the top to be a considered a single family home. it’s really insanely huge. The architecture is really amazing too. beautiful.
