Open Question: a cat has been hit in front of my house. at first i thought he was dead?
but when i took a second look he still alive with blood running from her nose and mouth. it was Sunday and no vet was open so i have to take him home. i don’t know what should i do as he cannot wake to eat or drink. the best i can do is try to fed him water using cat bottle. please give me some advise. one more, i use hill science plan to fed my 8 cats. after surf this website, i just know that hills is not good for cat but all suggestion about good cat food is very difficult to find in my place..

Open Question: Steps to diagnose basement water leak from wall and ultimately repair?
I noticed a small area of my basment wall and floor that is damp from water penetration. The wall in question is diretly under my front porch and steps. My first gues is that the cement steps may need to be resealed or I need to dig out plant bed,,,,,seal lower brick area, and then regrade. I live in Michigan and we have had on and off light rain for the past few days. Also, my house is nearly 80 yrs old.

Open Question: Does stress/anxiety bring about new phobias and increase old ones?
I am wondering because I realized that I have gained a new…not fear, but disguist of germs. I am a germ a phobe.
I was just now eating a steak. If you are not a vegitarian and like steak, then you would think it perfectly fine to eat it. It was cooked and it looked good. Still….I started thinking too much about where it came from, how many bacteria were probably in the meat despite the fact it was cooked, thought about how disguisting that seemed, and had to spit it out. There is no other food in the house suitable for dinner, but I will pass on this one.
I despise touching public things…..rails, lunch trays, the school lockers, desks, water fountains, etc. I coming in from outside, because I will feel that the dirt from outside has attatched to my skin. I absoultely have to wash my hands. I hate it especially while in front of of people (shaking hands, sharing a drink, using their ipod earphones, etc) because it’s rude, or at least awkward. Eh….it’s not as crazy thought than typed. But you get the idea.

I never used to be this way. It’s developed within the past few months, during a time when I was under immense stress, and still am, in fact.
I just can’t think of any other reason why I have these tendencies and somtimes urges to avoid some of these situations and to keep washing my hands. It just grosses me out if I don’t.
