Open Question: Please help me by giving me your opinion on choosing a USA city to live in?
Hi. I am thinking of migrating from Singapore to United States.
Firstly,my aunts and relative have been persuading me not to,as they said from some of their experience that USA have a problem of racial discrimination on Asian people.I do not know if that is true.
So,i was hoping to get feedback and answer from Asian people living in America now or previously,please share with me your thoughts.
I was also researching on which cities should i settle in?I am been looking on report from US magazine and ranking ,all the cities ranked was good for me,but the problem is that i was hoping to get a house near a NBA team stadium.
Secondly,what do i need to do for migration process,i am unemployed right now,finished school here,have certain amount of money in my bank account.What visa should i apply for,no relative or company in US just for information.
Thirdly,i was wondering if i could buy a house in USA without visa or green card,i am hoping to invest or live in it if i could possibly get the green card.
Anyone one can recommend me a web page that have the largest collection of house for sale ,with photos and information.
My budget is S$50,000 to S$1,000,000. Hope to get a house with two or more stories,modern style look ,waterfront view.Near to a NBA team stadium.
Lastly,where do all Chinese or Asian prefer to stay in which city in USA?

I have come to a decision on living in Orange,CA.
I have listed up to 7-10 houses,which i was hoping that i could get the house with ocean view/mountain view,from what i have selected.

Resolved Question: I met this drunk guy with his huge Great Dane at the waterfront?
I was in awe of his dog and took 2 photo’s- one of the dog and one of him and the dog.
This guy is in his 40’s, like me, lives in a rented house in that area, ( that is very close to me) and oh man, he’s really handsome.. but he had one of those small, soft, zippered, lunchbags.. with beer in it. I could tell he had been drinking..
He gave me his email, to send him the photo’s.
He thought I was really pretty.. but.. I kept putting him off.
He told me his wife left him a year ago..
Hmmm.. could it have been his drinking?
I don’t know.
Should I just stay a friend to this guy and see how much of a drinker he is, or just leave it?
