Open Question: I need a tagline for an apartment community?
I currently am working for 2 different apartment home communities, managed by the same company, and we are entering a slow leasing season. Decrease in traffic is a huge contribution to my problem. I am currently networking on facebook, twitter and craigslist. I know from experience that a lot of people check craigslist for new homes if their moving. I need to come up with a eye catching tag-line that will stop people in their tracks to check out my post. Both communities are Island themed… Island Club is by the beach, very close to a big naval station, not the nicest area of town but the community is very nice, great affordable rents and awesome specials!! Soleil (”sun” in french) is located is less than a mile from the beach and is in a very nice/upscale part of town however we have great specials, great prices and resort style amenities.

Any input would be helpful! Thanks!

Open Question: What do you think of my love story?
“Do you mind?” He said when I tried to give him a hug. It didn’t work. He pushed me away with a confused smile. He didn’t like me, and he never would.
“Oh sorry… I uhm…tripped.” I said, wanting to cry. He was so perfect, if only he knew I loved him. I couldn’t help but want to hug him.
“Okay. High five for that A on the History test?” He sighed, putting his hand out and waiting for my hand to touch his. He knew I was insecure about my hands. I had big, ugly long fingers that I found hideous. They really weren’t that bad, but it was a flaw I was ashamed of, and he knew it.
Instead of gladly accepting this rare attention he was offering, I nodded, turned, and ran to my next class. Then I remember we were going to the same class, so there was probably no point in running from him. And about four seconds later, I felt his hand grab my arm and pull me back. I wanted to kiss him so badly. But I knew he didn’t like me, he liked Julia. I knew I was prettier than her, but I guess it wasn’t enough. He was always giving her piggy back rides at the football games, while I just stood there awkwardly, wanting to cry.
“What?” I said, a lump in my throat. It was stupid to be crying, Damien would never love me.
“Will you just walk with me? Why are you suddenly out to get me? Look me in the eyes, Sarah. Look at me!” He yelled.
And so I did

“SARAH! Sarah, please answer me!” My mom’s voice echoed throughout the room.
“Whaaaa What? Where am I? Mom? Why are you at my school?” I asked, puzzled.
It turns out that I blacked out. Not only that, but guess who it was that carried me up to the nurse’s office?
My mom drove me home, drilling me with questions. I just said “yes” every time she spoke, but I was really reading the text Julia had sent me.

Where are you? Oh my gosh! I have loads to tell you. Guess who kissed me? Guess? Damien! Finally, he kissed me!

Tear’s poured out. And when we got home, there was a note on my bed. I didn’t even bother to read it. I balled it up and threw it across the room. I curled up in my bed. Trying to imagine his lips against mine, envying Julia. Wishing I had what it took to be her.
Seconds later, my cell phone was ringing. I looked at the screen and sighed.
“Yes?” I said, trying to stifle the sobs.
“Sarah! Did you get my text?” She asked.
“Yep, congrats!” I said, hoping she didn’t intend on telling me every single detail.
I pushed the END button. I then walked over to the crumpled piece of paper and un-wrapped it.

Meet me at the pier, 8:00. Love, Damien.

My heart skipped several beats. I straightened my hair and put on the necessary make-up. I opened my closet and grabbed a cute sundress and my brown Rainbow Flip-Flops. I stood in front of the mirror for several seconds, knowing I could probably have any guy I wanted. All except for the one I needed.
I walked downstairs and told my mom I was walking down to the beach and would be back soon.
When I reached the end of my driveway, his arms curved around my waste. He leaned in and breathed on my neck, kissing it gently once.
And then I woke up. I had cried myself to sleep. I groaned, wishing the dream was real. I looked at my phone. Four missed calls, and three were from Julia. One was from him.
I sighed and called Julia first. She gave me all the details and I just told her how happy I was for her and blah blah blah.
And then I called him. He answered with relief.
“Oh thank goodness! Sarah? Are you okay? I’m sorry, they wouldn’t let me stay with you and forced me to go back to class. Are you hurt? You took a pretty rough fall…” He inquired. I smiled contently, thrilled to know that he cared.
“I’m fine, I’m fine. Since when do you call me? I didn’t even know you had my number.” I said, confused, but overjoyed to hear his voice.
“Jules gave it to me,” Great, he had a nickname for her, “And I wanted to call to make sure you were alright.” His caring, beautiful voice rang in my ear and I could already picture his perfect lips kissing Julia. I hung up, but he called me seconds later. I told him I had to go because I didn’t feel well, and I would talk to him later.

Based on experience and a true story (except some changes to make the story more exciting)
