My property line backs up to a small field and on the other side is a flower nursery business. The guy that owns the business got permission from the owner of the field to turn it into a memorial park / lake open to the public. I have horses and my fence backs right up to where the park would be. I’ve had problems with the local high schoolers who are the typical underage drinking rednecks who enjoy pulling pranks on my house. I’m worried for the safety of my animals and family. Someone said that they would need permission from everyone thats property backs up to the park? Does anyone know if they are legally aloud to do this?
Open Question: Will I be able to get into a good university as a transfer with these stats?
Good as in tier 1.
High School GPA I graduated with was a 3.6 at an academically difficult high school. I had a 3.2 GPA during the time when I was applying to colleges (I went to an academically challenging prep school).
I had an SAT score of 2290 (took the SAT my 1st year of college since I heard I will need it as a transfer)
College GPA = 3.9 (currently in my second year of college)
College I attend is Armstrong Atlantic State University.
Major = Biology (looking to go to Business school but in case that doesn’t work out I can earn a good job out of college with a degree in biology, I will take more business courses for my final two years of college)
Extra curricular activities in college include
- organizing a local lake clean up and encouraging my fellow students to participate
- Volunteer hours at a local hospital (120 hours total)
- Member of the student government
- Did the “Alternative Spring Break program” where I helped tutor kids at a local public school and helped some high school kids by giving them SAT prep. Also helped in rebuilding a house.
- Member of the biology club
- Member of the politics club, I am also the vice president of the club at our school
- Joined up with three friends of mines and helped to start a food drive.
**already accepted into Georgia Tech and UGA as a transfer due to those colleges have a transfer agreement with my school, I want to get into a college in the northeast as a transfer, I have applied to many.
