Open Question: Do landlords have any responsibility to inform new tenants of sex offenders residing on their property?
I am very upset that I did not check into things more before I bought a mobile home off a lake.
I fell in love with this place and the lake it was located off of, I bought it cash down and moved myself and my four Daughters in.
I lived there less than a week, when another neighbor informed me that the person to the right of me is a sex offender. I verified it on the computer. The person is registered and has a record of criminal sexual assault on a child.
I guess the sex offender has lived there for years, and the lot owner is fully aware of his tenants criminal record. The landlord never mentioned it to me. I feel very resent-full that this landlord would not disclose this before I bought the mobile home.
Do property owners have a legal obligation to inform people of a sex offenders that live on their property?
Open Question: I told him the truth, so..did I make the right decision or am I greedy?
Ive been in a monogomous relationship with Bob for the last 9 yrs. It is what it is, so to speak. Bob has refused to marry me, he told me he did not want a comittment and always put me behind his ex wife and his kids from 2 ex wives.
Last winter I met Jack. We hit it off well, and after going out and getting to know Jack, I think I have fallen totally for him. Problem is Jack is married and hasnt lived with his ex wife for over 15 yrs. I am not sure exactly where she is or the real story. All I know is she is it has to do with some kind of pension Jack has thru the military. He must be on amicable terms with her. Never seen her or met her.
Recently Bob has offered to buy a home with me.Not just any home, but a beautiful home in a rural area out on a lake. I agreed…not because I am totally in love with him anymore, but because he is very financially stable, and I would not want for anything if I lived with him in this home, and I am getting older and its time to plant myself somewhere permanently and stop all this dating and being messed with by middle aged men.
I caved and told Jack about it. I also told him I still feel the same way about him.
Am I an idiot, or did I do the right thing? Should I have told him? Am I making a mistake?
Open Question: What’s wrong with attracting younger females?
I’m a 47 year old business owner who owns law firms in 4 different cities. My income is enough to buy me a decent house, car and large private boat on the side, which I take to the lakes every summer and just camp in it. I have worked extremely hard for my assets. I never had any social life in my mid-30s and early 40s, I just studied my Masters and worked.
Now that I’m earning decent money, I always wear expensive jewelry to bars to attract attention. Most of the time it works, and I usually end up taking a lucky female home. I show them pictures of my boat in my house and one thing leads to another, action ensues. I use the same concept when I’m at the lake with my boat. I invite them inside and end up with some action, whether it’s a beeeejay or full-blown out action. Some people don’t like what I’m doing for obvious reasons: jealousy mainly. But I know a few who don’t like me because the females I invite and bun are eighteen to twenty-five year olds. I stay away from women my age because they are Old, so i go for yhe younger ones. What’s wrong with that? It makes me feel good. It keeps me healthy. And psychologically it keeps me happy to know I still can and have been with females so beautiful (cheerleader-type with short shorts) that many young guys can only dream of. So why should I feel bad? They want nothing from me besides a good time in one of my assets, and I want nothing but action .
