After a good chance of rain Thursday, the weekend forecast falls back into the typical summer pattern of highs around 90 and a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Resolved Question: living in Florida(boat owning question)?
I was just wondering about having a waterfront home in Florida. So my dream has been to have a waterfront house anywhere in the US with a small yacht. I currently live in CA, but it is extremely expensive for a waterfront home. I heard Florida is a bit cheaper in housing. my question is with the seasonal hurricanes and other storms, how do homeowners protect their boats? Do they have a special storage place to store them for the summer? I’m just wondering.

Resolved Question: 3 children, expecting 1 more, 3 dogs, me, my husband, don’t want to live in a big city. Where to move?
Got this email from my aunt the other day. She’s sent it to a bunch of her friends, including me. I figured, why not reach out and ask the YA Family? Hahaha. so yea, here it is….

I have a family (3 kids plus me and my husband are expecting a 4th), 3 pets (all dogs, planning on more), love spending time together in the yard (swimming, gardening, decorating), we currently live in a wonderful community in North Carolina, but we want to have our options open seeing as my husband is reaching out with his career (which pays enough to live in a nicer community, a bigger house, but prefferably not a big city). Our children’s education is extremely important to us. Our eldest is 8, and we are expecting our youngest in around 7 months :) . Our family is spread all over the country, but we would like to stay along the east coast. Love to live near the beach, waterfront would be amazing! Swimming and sunsets is one of our favorite things. We visit florida every summer and stay with my grandparents for a week and our kids love running around on the beach with the labs. Very family oriented, have cousins, brothers and sisters, parents, aunts and uncles, etc visiting ALL the time. We love to grill (like I said, outside outside outside!) If you have any suggestions, we would love them! Hubby is needing to look at new job oppertunities because of this sweet, sweet economy, and we want to have a few places in mind before we need to begin the home hunt! :)

Resolved Question: Please Help! I need to find a house in Florida DIRECTLY on the beach!?
I need to find a house in florida directly on the beach for under 500k. The cheaper the better. 2br 2b minimum, no more than a block away from the ocean, anywhere in florida, location doesnt matter. NO CONDOS, preferably unless you happen to know a very nice one. Realtor.com has an option to only show waterfront properties but it mostly shows properties on lakes, ugh. Searching for something this specific is a pain, any quicker ideas or links to properties?
