Waterfront Houses USA is a network of real estate property listing websites specializing in waterfront property and property in lake, river, or ocean communities. We are here to help real estate agents, brokers, and property managers to promote their waterfront property though a variety of different online methods. We are not real estate agents and we have no interest in the properties listed here. There are no commissions or hidden fees. Real estate agents, brokers, and property managers can list unlimited properties for sale or rent for a flat fee. We are a proud member of the Better Business Bureau.
Q: How much traffic do you get?
We are a new network of sites and just went live in August 2007. Although, our sites are new, we have been in the online lead generation business since January 2003. Since that time we have generated nearly 500,000 leads for insurance, debt and mortgage professionals nationwide. We are confident in our product and pledge to work endlessly promoting our services.
Q: Why should I advertise my waterfront property with you?
WaterfronthousesUSA.com has many benefits over the other real estate listing websites. We provide you with unlimited ads for one low flat rate. When you enter your property listing, you have the option of having your property listed on other websites within our network at no additional charge. We also promote our listings on classified ad sites like Google, PropBot, PropSmart, Lycos/Oodle, and Edgeio. These sites and their network of sites receive millions of visitors a month.
With other benefits such as no long term contracts, bio pages, contact forms, links to your website and 24/7 listing management it's easy to gain wide spread promotion for your waterfront properties. You also have the option of upgrading to a Featured Agent where your listings appear above the standard listings in their category and rotation in the Featured Agent box.
Q: How do I advertise my property on Waterfront Houses USA?
STEP ONE: Register as a member of Waterfront Houses USA. Registration is free. Once you register you will receive an email requesting that you activate your membership. This is required to activate your free membership in order to prevent spammers and bots from registering fake users. Be sure to either turn off your spam filter or add WaterfrontHousesUSA.com to your email list. If you have problems drop us an email and we will help you with the registration process.
STEP TWO: Once you activate your membership, you will receive another email notifying you that your membership has been activated. You can then return to WaterfrontHousesUSA.com to Login to your account.
STEP THREE: Once you are logged in, you will see options to Advertising Packages, Edit Account Profile, Submit a New Listing, and Manage Listings. Start by visiting the Advertising Packages page and purchase an advertising package that fits your needs. Packages are unlimited ads and come in 6 month or 12 month increments. We use PayPal to process credit card payments. You do not have to be a member of PayPal to use to pay for your advertising package.
STEP FOUR: Once you have purchased your advertising package, you can then visit the Submit a New Listing page and fill out our short submission form and upload your photos. Once you are completed uploading your photos, repeat step four to add additional listings.
Q: What does it cost to advertise on Waterfront Houses USA?
Unlimited Ad Packages - $149 for 12 months of unlimited property listings.
As an added bonus, those purchasing a 12 month unlimited package will receive the Featured Agent upgrade (a $99 value) at no additional cost.
Featured Agent ads are also available. Featured Agent Listings appear in randomly on the sidebar and appears above the standard listings in search results. Featured Listing also carry a gold star next to them in the search results. Featured Agents are also showcased in the Featured Agent Box located on the homepage and search pages.
Q: Do you offer any contests or promotions?
Yes we routinely offer special promotions and contests. All cash and prizes over $500 require you to complete a W-9 tax form to claim your prize. This is an IRS requirement. Your information is protected under our privacy agreement and will never be sold or rented to any third party. Our promotions and contests are posted on our promotions page.
Q: Can I advertise my property if it is not waterfront?
Absolutely! We do not require that all properties listed be waterfront. If your property has a view or access to a nearby lake, river, beach or ocean, it is welcome here. You can also list properties that are in golf communities that are on or near a man-made water source. We also accept properties with their own private lakes or ponds.
Q: How do I update or remove my ad?
You have 24 hour/7 day a week access to instantly update your listings. Simply login to your account and click on "Manage Listings". If your property has sold you can either delete the listing or mark it SOLD. Marking a listing SOLD removes it from the search results without deleting the listing. This comes in handy for properties that have sold or are sale pending but hasn't been closed on yet. If something falls through, you can simply change the status back to For Sale. Once the property has closed and the transaction is finalized you can then Delete the listing.
Once your ad package has expired your listings go to offline status. Simply Login to your account and visit the Advertising Packages Page to renew your ads. Once payment is made, your ads automatically return to live status.
Q: What if I forget my login id or password?
Your login id is your email address. If you do not remember which email address you used to register your account, simply contact us by using the contact us form and we will look it up for you. If your email address has changed since you registered with us, contact us and we can change it for you. If you have forgotten your password, go to the Login page and click on "I've Forgotten My Password". You will receive an email very shortly with your password. The email will be sent to the email address that you initially registered with.
Once you enter your property details and click on submit, you will be taken to the Photo Upload page. If you have already listed your property, simply login and click on "Manage Listings" then click on "Upload Photo" next to the listings you need to add pictures to.
You can then select "Browse" to locate your photo on your hard drive or disk drive. You then choose a name for your photo and an order number. The order number reflects what order the photos appear in on the property details page. We recommend your start with 1 and proceed to 10. The last photo you enter will always become your "Default Photo". The default photo will be the main phot for the listing and will be the phot displayed in your search results. You can select any photo you wish to be your default photo by clicking on "Make it Default". Once you are finished click on "I don't wish to upload any more photos at this time" to return to the MyAccount page.
Q: I do not have photos of my property. Can I still list it with you?
Absolutely. When you submit an ad, you are not required to add photos. If you want to add or change them at any time, you can login and click on Manage Listings and upload, change, or delete photos.
Q: What size photo I can submit?
Ideally, photos should be resized to 4"x6" size (or 432 x 288 pixels) for a faster upload time. There is a limit of 1 mb on the file size (in bytes) of each photo. Our system will automatically change the dimensions (height and width) of the photo, if necessary, so it will fit on a screen.
Q: What formats are allowed for photos?
Your photos must be in either .jpg or .gif format to load properly to your ad.
